Comments: First, let me state that I am very happy that the Westgate Lounge is helping in the preservation of live Latin music. Bravo! Second, I just wanted to mention what a great time me and my girlfriend had on March 22nd when Grupo Caribe performed. What a band! The music was great. I also think the music played by your DJ is "off the meat rack". This is a great place for anyone to dance the night away in a friendly atmosphere and have a great time. The staff is excellent and I love how the hostess/mgr. always makes her rounds at each table to find out if everyone is having a good time. Very classy! Que viva Westgate Lounge! Comments: I was at the West Gate Lounge on March 8 and I was so happy to be there! The DJ that was spinning that night was phenomenal!! He chose every Salsa tune that was so groovin' --I couldn't sit down for more than a minute! What a pleasure to be at this great Salsa Club. Also, Orq. Broadway was smokin'!! Comments: As a frequent patron of The West Gate lounge, i have noticed an uncanny change in the clientele of this club. Lately, there has been an unusual amount of very rude and disrespectful people. Most of these people are not dancers in any sense of the word and do not respect anyone's space on the dance floor. I find this disconcerting and I may have to start looking for better places to go, as upsetting as this is for me (and some friends). I hope management can do something about this "change in atmosphere" because you may have patrons who will lose faith in this great club!..............J. QUEENS, NY
